Birds’ Eye View on Mobile Number Portability

This paper presents about Mobile Number Portability, its Challenges, elements, types and terminology. It also explains in detail various technical steps involved between the Mobile service providers during the process of MNP. It also illustrates the advantages, disadvantages and problems related to MNP for the customer, Telecom Service Provider and the GOI in the process of implementation.
