  Abstract
  Television over Internet Protocol (IPTV) is an emerging multimedia service which provides ubiquitous TV access. Transmitting IPTV over Broadband Wireless Access networks is a challenging issue, because of its stringent Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. The IPTV service providers offers different types of services (HDTV, SDTV, Web TV and mobile TV) using different video servers for each IPTV service type, which increases the bandwidth required for IPTV transmission. Concept of Relay networking is a powerful means for the service providers, in order to offer IPTV services to the users. In this paper, in order to cope up with the scarce bandwidth resource along with QoS provision, a relay selection algorithm is proposed for IPTV services in relay based networks. The performance of proposed algorithm is evaluated through simulation by considering bandwidth used, delay and throughput as performance metrics.

  Abstract
  Biometric person identification systems are the important in the environments where security must be needed. In this respect, a Biometric person identification systems has been designed which identify the person by determining the authenticity by their voice in multilingual environment. The speech samples are recorded in three Indian languages Hindi, Marathi and Rajasthani for multilingual environment. Pitch, formant frequencies, MFCC and GFCC feature are extracted from the speech signals. For training and testing, neural network using radial basis functions are used. In this experiment accuracy of Biometric person identification 96.52% has been achieved.

  Abstract
  Information is a strategic resource. Information technology and business transactions are becoming inextricably interwoven, where security for the data and concealed data transmission are made mandatory. Cryptography can be considered as the principle means of providing the data security. In this paper authors have proposed a new symmetric block cipher named Modular Encryption Algorithm with an acronym MEA which uses tri-modular matrix for its key generation, a set of operations on a matrix, Permutations and Substitutions for its encryption and decryption. As part of operations required in MEA authors have proposed M-Box, the functionality is described in this paper. The multilevel cipher rounds used in this algorithm can enhance the security such that even an intruder intercepts the message, it could be difficult to decipher the message. The strength of this algorithm has been analyzed over differential cryptanalysis. This algorithm undoubtedly follows the Strict Plaintext Avalanche Criterion (SPAC) and Strict Key Avalanche Criterion (SKAC) - the Shannon’s property of “Confusion” and “Diffusion”, the results are tabulated in this paper.

  Abstract
  Many enterprises and other organizations store their data on clouds. When using cloud, the client is forced to blindly trust the service provider which is storing the complete data on a single cloud. But now a days single cloud concept is becoming less popular as there are risks of service availability failure, data integrity risks and the possibility of malicious insiders in the single cloud. Due to this the concept of “Cloud-of-Clouds “also known as “inter-clouds” or “multi-clouds” is becoming much popular.. Use of cloud-of-clouds provides a higher level of security to the confidential data. This is a survey paper related to research on the use of multi cloud and their security risks.
